Mall of Acadiana Partners with LARC: Recycle your Mardi Gras Beads

Lafayette, LA – Mall of Acadiana is collecting used Mardi Gras parade beads now until February 28th.

LARC supports persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities in reaching their goals of self-sufficiency, quality of life and self-worth. LARC individuals sort and package Mardi Gras beads and throws and sell them back to the public. This opportunity creates jobs for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Everyone who donates beads at Customer Service will be registered to win a $25 mall gift card. Donations are currently being collected at Customer Service, located at the main entrance near Talbot’s. To register for the $25 mall gift card, drop off your beads Monday – Friday from Noon – 9:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, Noon – 6:00 p.m.
