Shop during Tax Free Days at Acadiana Mall
Lafayette, LA - Shoppers at Acadiana Mall will once again enjoy a Tax-Free holiday this year! The Tax Free Holiday Weekend runs Friday, August 2 – Saturday, August 3. The Louisiana Sales Tax Holiday provides an exemption from state sales tax on the first $2,500 of the purchase price of most individual items of tangible personal property for non-business use. The state sales tax is payable on the portion of the purchase price of any individual item in excess of $2,500.
“This is a great opportunity for shoppers to take advantage and save even more while they shop for all of their back to school essentials. Many stores are also hosting sales and providing special offers to entice shoppers in addition to the sales tax discount,” said Todd Anderton, Regional Marketing Director for CBL & Associates Properties.
This weekend Acadiana Mall will also host the Ragin' Cajuns Athletic Foundation. The event will be held near Center Court along with players, coaches and University Staff. Get here early to visit with the players and coaches, pick up your season tickets, and receive college admissions information as you pledge your support for your Ragin' Cajuns. There will be drawings for great prizes including game-day giveaways and great Coca-Cola prizes.
